The Office of University Communications Web Services team is responsible for various services relating to the Penn web.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Development and maintenance of the central Penn web (home page plus top-level university directory pages)
• Development and maintenance of the Office of University Communications, Research at Penn, the Penn Digest, and Arts at Penn web sites and the Penn Campus Virtual Tour.
• Ensuring compliance with University of Pennsylvania branding standards throughout the Penn web
• Providing guidance and assistance to departments and schools in the creation of their web presence, particularly as it applies to the University identity
• Working with ISC as part of the Penn webmaster team

In addition to these responsibilities Web Services chairs and oversees the Web Communications Group; a committee of web communications professionals drawn from various schools and centers who gather to evaluate and discuss web policies and practices.
